NETGEAR’s Digital Entertainer (model number EVA700) plugs in to your TV or home theater system and plays your digital videos, photos and music files that exist in your PC, your NETGEAR Storage Central (SC101), as well as media content streaming from the Internet by connecting to your home network. You can even play files saved on a USB storage device such as a USB thumb drive, USB disk, iPOD™, or some digital cameras with a USB interface. What’s even better is that the NETGEAR Digital Entertainer is Intel® Viiv verified and supports seamless access to content, applications and services available on Intel Viiv PCs (version 1.5 and up). EVA700 also supports access to content residing in Microsoft® Windows® Media Center PCs via Windows Media Connect, and other UPnP AV media servers such as TwonkyVision. Finally, when used with NETGEAR’s Powerline HD Ethernet Adapter Kit (HDXB101 and HDX101 both sold separately), the NETGEAR Digital Entertainer may be placed in any room where your TV or home theater system is another room from your home network router and give you excellent quality and stable, consistent video streaming, much better results that using standard 802.11g WiFi network, to get you to watch videos for hours without problems.
